CAMP RENTAL & CONSTRUCTION
Over the last 16 years, Discovery Mining Services have provided and constructed from 2 - 80 person complete all weather camps in Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and throughout the rest of Canada.
These rental camps have ranged in size from very basic camps for grassroots exploration programs to more elaborate rental camps for larger scale advanced drill programs.
The name says it all - our basic grassroots camps are just that! Sleep tents, basic dry tent and minimal cooking facilities. Often used for short programs, they are lightweight, inexpensive and can easily be moved.
Our more elaborate camps for larger scale sample programs and drill programs offer more comfort and convenience for longer stays and larger crews. Amenities can include complete kitchen facilities to feed any number of personnel, sleep tents, showers with hot and cold running water, complete office facilities, and core logging facilities. Discovery Mining Services and Nunavut Expediting at the client's request can provide camp managers, cooks and knowledgeable local bear monitors from the Northern communities.
All of our camps can be broken down to fly by Twin Otter – a necessary requirement for some of the more remote areas in the north. Our skilled camp construction crews have an individual average of 10 years experience, and have worked in some of the most extreme remote locations in the world. They always come prepared with the knowledge and tools to get the job done right.
We are simply the most experienced camp providers in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut and Northern Provinces. Recently we have been providing camps all over Canada including Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Newfoundland. Our clients recognize our expertise, resources and stability.
